I see. You don't understand magnetism, can't explain it, but it makes things move with what in your terms is an invisible force. According to Greg, magnetism would be considered fanciful and would not make sense.

Are you suggesting that the oceans have risen 6" worldwide on the beaches, with a full degree or more rise in temperature, which has been recorded as arising from the DEPTHS, because the air has warmed? What kind of gibberish is THAT!

Meteorologists will tell you that the result of increased air temperature is air turbulence, NOT heated oceans, as heat rises. At all time, for the oceans, the temperature of the air mass touching it has remained consistent on average. The upper stratas of the atmosphere have become warmer, but the lower level, where the coldest air settles, has not significantly changed as yet. Ocean warming from increased air temperature would NOT occur until the cold air in the air masses had been eliminated, which has not occurred. In fact, due to increased air turbulence, cold air rushing from the poles can be expected to increase, and will be one of the weather irregularities on the increase.
