Aftertime Kitchen Setting

A Headquarters prototype has been approved and on the web for Distillation of drinking water, to be placed in the old-time kitchen at the Headquarters. This kitchen setting includes a hand pump pulling water from a cistern collecting rainwater-runoff from the roof, and a place for a wood burning stove and other such turn-of-the-century techniques for living without or with limited electricity. The President recently purchased a unique $250 antique clothes washer with ringers, in perfect working order. This is entirely manual, and in addition to demonstrating how gears and levers can be employed, can serve a dual purpose for purging and crushing earthworms prior to food preparation. It is currently placed in the old-time kitchen.
