Hydroponics & Fish Tanks

To expedite headquarters demos of hydroponics in conjunction with worm beds and natural food collection and preparation techniques such as distillation of drinking water, the hydroponics demo should be purchased, not built. Multiple demands for attention to the many corporation projects, on volunteers busy who cannot devote full time to these projects, results in neglected projects. Purchasing pre-fabricated units will expedite setting up the prototypes or demos. Hydroponics has been estimated at $1,625, but an analysis of several of the hydroponics sites listed on the Troubled Times sites shows that sizable units can be purchased for less than this. Often these systems are combined with acquaculture, the plants used to cleans fish water carrying nutrients. The fish tank project had not been estimated as yet, as issues such as the ability to winter fish over during the cold Wisconsin winters required research. Indoor aquaculture resolves those outstanding issues.
